I'm not sure why these pictures are sideways...Today's lunch was similar to yesterday's. We had bran muffins and fruit for breakfast. I still have a lot of produce left so tomorrow I'll buy some peanut butter for Craig's lunches on days where there are no leftovers. I do plan to make spaghetti for supper tonight so he can take some for lunch tomorrow too. He can be tricky to feed, but he's never one to complain so I consider myself lucky. He's a great guy and even came up with a surprise for me on Mother's day. We were outside playing with the kids on Sunday, digging around in the sandbox when I found something that made my heart feel funny. It was the keypad half of what appeared to be my LG cell phone. It was clearly broken beyond repair, full of sand and looked like it had been used as a shovel by the boys. My heart sank, we just got our cell phones a couple months ago and they are not cheap to replace... I was thinking to myself, "I thought we were watching the kids better than this, how could this have happened? I always put my phone away ina safe place.. oh my.." I showed Craig and he asked if it was mine. It sure looked like mine. I asked our 2 year old if he broke my phone and he said " phone, dig, break!" oy.. So I dig around some more, looking for the screen half of it so maybe we can take it back to telus and get a warranty replacement or..something? a laugh is more like it, right?
So I go in the house and check to see if my phone is really gone, the damage to this phone is pretty extreme, how could my kids do this? My phone wasn't where I thought I left it so Craig and Andrew go in the house for a minute and andrew comes back out with a surprise for me in his pocket. He pulls out my phone, unharmed and working perfectly. Craig is such a stinker, he was walking outside downtown one day on the way to another building at work and he found this broken phone that looked exactly like my LG phone. He planted it in the sandbox on Mother's day, planning to freak me out by "finding" it himself, or one of the kids finding it. How funny that I found it, but it was soooo not funny at the time.

We'll just have a little comment back and forth fest for the next couple week K? More on Amity post. :D
So I love those small divided plates... where did you get those?
Hi Val!
It's nice to know people are watching :) I am a bit behind on posting, but I do have grocery photos from monday and wednesday this week. I'll get those up tonight. The plates are stainless steel and I got them for .99 each at a store called Princess Auto. Last time we were there they had a whole shelf full of SS dishes, pitchers, bowls etc... My kids like them, and similar to filling a bento lunchbox I just put a different food in each spot. My older son complains if one is empty lol.
